To Grandpa With Love Some things will always be in style Good solid things like honesty, and trust and caring about people. It's qualities like these that keep us aware of who we are And what we can give to life. It's qualities like these, Grandpa, that you've taught me to value, through your influence, your example, and your love. It has made me love your very much, And has made me very proud to have you for my grandpa.	Walking With Grandpa I like to walk with Grandpa, his steps are short like mine, He doesn't say "Now Hurry Up!" He always takes his time. I like to walk with Grandpa, His eyes see things like mine do... Wee pebbles bright, a funny cloud, Half hidden drops of dew. Most people have to hurry They do not stop and see I'm glad that God made Grandpa [Name], Unrushed and young like me.	My Grandpa Nothing is as special  As the comfort that I find, In the eyes of my Grandpa, The warm and lasting kind. A love that's based on caring thoughts And gentle trusting ways. Moments shared ...both good and bad And words of love and praise. Leaves may change from green to gold The sky from blue to gray. A summer's afternoon becomes A chilly winter's day. People change and places change And times keep changing too, But one thing always stays the same… The love I feel for you.   So put this in a special place And read it over too As a reminder of your grandchild’s love That will last a lifetime through.
