Name
My Brother
Mom brought this baby home one day
In a bundle of light blue,
I kissed his bald and wrinkled head
And
said, " I guess I love you."
He
was sure no fun to play with then
With
his little hands and feet
For entertainment all he did
Was cry and eat and sleep.
Well I thought, let's give him back
This kid is such a drag,
He's way too young to play my games
Of
hide and seek or tag.
But Mom said no, he's here for keeps,
I was thankful in the end;
My
brother, once a childhood pest,
Is now my dearest friend.
